Return Policy:
CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES.
All merchandise leaves the business in perfect condition. It then becomes the BUYER'S RESPONSIBILITY to claim for damages with the delivering carrier.
Upon return of the product(s) due to Customer's refusal to accept the order or wrong address, Great Food Co-op will issue a credit to the Customer's account in an amount equal to the value of the product(s). Shipping charges and surcharges, as well as special services are not refundable unless product(s) are damaged and/or defective.
The Carrier's Insurance doesn't cover the melting or blooming (whitening) of the chocolates in any way.
Great Food Co-op cannot be held responsible for damage if you (or the recipient of a gift) are not present at time of delivery and the damage occurs as a result of the delay in claiming the package.
Also, Great Food Co-op cannot be responsible for heat damage.
We highly recommend shipping to an address where someone will be able to receive the package when delivered.
Chocolate left outside your home all day may be damaged by weather that is too hot, cold, rainy or humid.
Any agreed return of goods will be charged with 10% of the invoice with a minimum of $20
If a Package is Returned:
If a package is returned after the 10 business days, no refunds will occur.
Because chocolate is a perishable food item and if we determine there was no fault on Great Food Co-op's side and product is returned damaged in any way, we reserve the right to not refund the customer any of their money.
Refund Dispute:
Any credit charge that is disputed and Great Food Co-op is not found at fault, and that Seller has done its best according to its policies, will have a $20.00 fee assessed to the customer to cover a merchant service chargeback fee. The $20 is a fee that is charged to Great Food Co-op by the processing bank.
